Mandioca frita (fried cassave)

Preparation

  • Boil water in a pan, add some salt if you want to.
  • Peel the cassaves, cut them into strips and wash them.
  • Cook the cassaves in boiling water.
  • Drain the water and let it cool down.
  • In the meantime, heat the oil in a fying pan. Add the cassave and fry them i medium heat until golden brown.
  • Place the cassave on a paper towel. Add some salt and serve warm.
