Batavia salad


Preparation 35 minutes
  • Mix the chopped onions, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pepper, salt and sugar in a ovenproof dish.
  • Roast the mixture in the oven at 180°C for 18 minutes until nicely browned.
  • Turn mixture halfway through the cooking time. Let it cool afterwards.
  • Remove the outer lettuce leaves. Wash and dry the remainder well.
  • Remove the crust from the blue cheese and cut into slices.
  • Divide the lettuce, roast beef and blue cheese, drizzle the dressing and stir through some onions.
